To make art is to align with the ultimate, driving force of the universe: creation itself. In today’s shifting world, we don't just create to express ourselves; we create to survive, to mutate, and to heal. It is a divine impulse to take the raw, fractured materials of this reality and forge them into portals for the an alterative present and the long path forward. At its core, every act of creation is an incantation for the world we are yearning for.

At Les Shapeshifters, we make music and art as portals for resilience. We curate and mentor unlikely constellations of artists, bringing them together to surrender to improvisation, play, and generous creation. Guided by mystical frameworks and a devotion to the creative process over the final product, we host flow states that awaken anomalies. Here, presence becomes an instrument, and cross-disciplinary collaboration becomes a dance with the unknown, speculating a future where creativity flourishes through true, radical symbiosis.

AN ODE TO THE NILE (DOCUMENARY FILM)
COMING SOON

An Ode to the Nile is a feature-length documentary shaped as a journey along a river that has carried human imagination and survival for millennia. Co-directed by Laila Saber Rodriguez and Constance Mariena, the film reframes the ecological crisis as a crisis of relationship, asking what might shift if we approached rivers as living counterparts rather than managed systems.

Structured around an upstream logic, the film is anchored by intimate musical offerings played directly to the water. Through encounters with philosophers, biologists, and artists, the film creates a connective medium of rhythm and memory. It does not ask what we can do to save nature, but rather how we might sustain intimacy and responsibility in a world structured around separation and speed.
